To get it to recognize the keyboard and mouse I either have to remove it out of the dock without powering down, open the laptop, and do a full shutdown, return it to the dock, and do a cold boot, orĭo a forced shutdown at the risk of losing whatever state was saved when I hibernated the system the night before. However, when I come back to the office and drop the hibernated computer into the dock, I can wake it up by pressing the power button on the dock, but after waking up from hibernation in the dock it doesn't recognize the keyboard or mouse (though it does recognize the monitor and speakers). The annoying thing is that when you DOCK the laptop, it defaults to it's ethernet connection and disconnects the wireless (which I don't have a problem with). that shows the progress: Tip: You can left click and drag from the pane header to undock it and make it bigger Click.
If I work from home, I'll hibernate the computer again when I'm done. As the Subject states, when undocking a Win7 Enterprise edition laptop from it's dock, it doesn't switch back to it's remembered wireless network. When I leave for the day, I usually hibernate the computer, take it out of the dock, and head home. At the office, it docks into a Dell dock which my keyboard, mouse, speakers, and two monitors are hooked into. I have a Dell Latitude laptop provided by my employer, running Windows 7 64-bit.
